Volcom's basic philosophy has been from the beginning of the energy stemming from the statement "Youth against establishment", which can be freely translated as "supporting young and creative thinking". Volcom started out as a two-person company with Richard's bedroom headquarters, sold by Tucker's room in Huntington, and with the first year of 2600usd.
